Christophe

It's been an awfully long time since I've posted here. I'm hoping to change that in the coming weeks. 

These are of Christophe, who put on some of the most emotionally dramatic poses I've ever seen. At one point, he took the condensation from his beer can and dabbed it onto his cheeks to mimic tears (see the last drawing). He also told me about a time he dog-sat and killed the owner's pet (by accident). 

All in all a great session. Testament to my silence on this blog, I probably drew Christophe sometime in June 2013.

Drawings of Rita

I've been adding more light and color back into my drawings lately. Rita is my constant, brilliant model. The first two are fairly bizarre-looking (not much of a likeness in either), but I still like them as drawings.

My mom is a very patient model (although this was a pretty quick sketch). Don't think her nose is really that big, for the record.
